Fatigue is something that most of us have experienced at one time or another. It is usually due to over exertion or an unusual amount of stress and will go away with rest and relaxation. However, some people suffer from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). People who suffer from CFS frequently complain of extended periods of extreme fatigue with seemingly no perceivable cause or reason.
Note: During this time of social-distancing and isolation, most massage therapists have suspended providing massage therapy. This can be very hard on clients who receive regular massage to manage a variety of issues. On top of that, because of the current pandemic, almost everyone is experiencing a heightened level of anxiety and worry. While this article outlines the benefits of massage for fatigue, we have also created a guide on how to perform some self-massage techniques to help ease your pain, tension, and worry until you can visit your massage therapist again. Please feel free to email us at All Body Kneads to discuss exercises, stretches and things you can do at home for your specific issues. We will get back to you just as soon as we can.
